Stargate Studios' real-time compositing system, called Virtual Backlot Live or VB Live, allows producers, directors, DPs and actors to see the backgrounds and foregrounds of complex green screen shots assembled as they shoot. This proprietary technology enables directors to find best dramatic angles for coverage, DPs to better match lighting and look of shots, actors to see where they are and feel more comfortable with their environment, and editors the ability to begin cutting immediately with composited footage.
